Mona is a personal life-admin app for Android and iOS that
brings the documents, expenses, subscriptions, and memories you'd otherwise
juggle across five different apps into one place. There's no account with
us and no backend server — everything syncs straight to your own
Google Drive, and most features work fully offline.
What you can do with Mona
Vault — store IDs, insurance, warranties, and bills with expiry reminders, searchable and filterable in seconds.
Expenses — track spending with a monthly dashboard, category breakdown, and budgets; import bank/UPI statements or snap a bill photo.
Subscriptions — connect your inbox to find recurring subscriptions, see what they really cost, and cancel or negotiate the ones you don't need.
Translate — point your camera at a sign or menu and get an instant translation.
Journal — a private diary with photos and voice notes, synced only to your own Drive.
Family — create or join a household and share a task checklist.
Recipes — save recipes manually or scan a photo to pull out the text.
Why Mona is different
Your data lives in your own Google Drive folder, not our servers — we cannot see it.
Sensitive processing (OCR, document scanning) happens on your device.

Your data & permissions
Mona only asks for the data it needs to run the feature you're using, and explains why before asking:
Google Sign-In (name, email, profile) — to identify you and create your personal Mona folder in Drive.
Google Drive, drive.file scope only — to sync/back up documents, expenses, journal, and family data into that app-created folder. Mona never requests access to your wider Drive.
Camera — to scan documents/receipts and translate signs or menus on the spot.
SMS (Android, optional) — to auto-detect bank/UPI transaction messages on-device, for automatic expense tracking.
Microphone (optional) — to record voice journal entries.
